Built for the Cold
When temperatures drop, your hands shouldn’t have to suffer. Extremities Gloves combine cutting-edge materials with decades of cold-weather expertise to deliver protection that actually works when you need it most.

Born from Frozen Fingers
We started Extremities because we were tired of choosing between dexterity and warmth. You know the feeling — you’re scaling a frozen pitch or adjusting camera settings in sub-zero temps, and suddenly you can’t feel your fingertips. Or worse, you pull off your gloves to tie a knot and instantly regret it.
Our founders spent years testing gear in the harshest conditions — from Denali’s windswept ridges to Norway’s Arctic tundra. What began as desperate midnight sketches in a frost-covered tent has evolved into a line of gloves that actually work when everything else fails. We obsess over the details that matter: seams that won’t blow out, insulation that breathes, and materials that grip even when caked in ice.
Every pair we make reflects a simple truth we learned the hard way: your hands are your lifeline in extreme conditions. Whether you’re ice climbing, winter photography, or mushing through the backcountry, cold hands don’t just hurt — they compromise everything you’re trying to accomplish. That’s why we build gloves that perform when the stakes are real and the mercury has given up.

Real Stories from the Cold
“Finally found gloves that actually keep my fingers functional at -20°F. Used them ice climbing in Colorado last month and could still tie knots and work with carabiners without taking them off.”

“Bought the Alpine Pro model for winter photography in Yellowstone. Three hours lying in snow waiting for wolves, and my hands stayed warm enough to adjust camera settings.”

“Got tired of my kids complaining about cold hands at the bus stop. The youth model actually fits properly and they can still use their phones. No more morning battles about wearing gloves.”

Common Questions
Measure around the widest part of the hand, excluding the thumb. Compare this measurement to the size chart provided. If between sizes, consider going up one size for a more comfortable fit, especially if planning to wear liner gloves underneath.
Hand washing in lukewarm water with mild soap works best. Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing, then reshape and lay flat to dry away from direct heat. Machine washing can damage the materials and affect performance.
Most modern styles include conductive fingertips on the thumb and index finger, allowing basic touchscreen use. However, sensitivity may be reduced compared to bare fingers, and some advanced gestures might not register properly.
With regular use and proper care, expect 1-2 seasons of wear. Heavy daily use, exposure to rough surfaces, or frequent washing will reduce lifespan. Signs of replacement include worn fingertips, loose stitching, or loss of insulation properties.
Unless specifically labeled as waterproof, most are water-resistant at best. They’ll handle light snow or brief exposure to moisture, but prolonged wet conditions will lead to soaking through. For activities in rain or wet snow, waterproof options are recommended.
Most retailers accept returns within 30 days if unworn and with tags attached. Some outdoor specialty stores offer extended return windows during peak season. Check the specific store’s policy before purchasing, as final sale items may not be returnable.
